Joint Factory Experience in Small Factory Communities Across Japan

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, an event 'Machipro Town Circus Let's Factory Experience,' where you can experience the charm of small factories, will be held at BIRTH LAB (Azabu-juban, Minato-ku, Tokyo).

This event will be a participatory event where five to six manufacturing companies from all over Japan gather, and children to adults can enjoy experiencing the technology and work of the manufacturing site, which is usually not visible.

Maruhachi Kasei Co., Ltd. (Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture), a plastic molding manufacturer, will exhibit a booth for experiencing the manufacturing of 'Uroboros Clip,' a popular product from their self-branded 'OUROBOROS' series.

Unlike the colors currently sold, this event allows you to create your favorite parts in your favorite combination with event-limited colors.

The material used is the same polycarbonate resin as before.

Non-sale colors have been prepared for the event.

We will also prepare actual nippers used in the factory.

On the day, we will prepare about 10 types of nippers, so you can compare and work while checking the sharpness and ease of use.

There are also various types of nippers, with price differences ranging from a few hundred yen to a few thousand yen, so you can also experience the craftsmanship of tools.

Children become actual 'manufacturing staff'

In this experience, you can actually experience the process from parts in the injection-molded state to the completion of the product.

The experience includes:

Gate cutting with nippers, part inspection, spring assembly, and packaging.

Of course, you can take home the completed product.

Particularly noteworthy is that children who have never used nippers can experience the 'gate cutting' work actually done in the factory.

While learning how products that are usually used casually go through various processes to be completed, you can experience the fun and difficulty of manufacturing.

You can also learn the mechanism of springs by experiencing spring assembly.

Multiple colors are prepared for the parts used in the experience.

Participants can select their favorite color for each of the following and create their own original color:

In addition, non-sale colors that are not usually sold are also available in limited quantities at the venue.

The ability to create a special specification limited to the event is also a major attraction.

A glowing model in the dark is also prepared

A special plan using the popular phosphorescent series 'Oboro (OBORO)' is also implemented.

Adopting phosphorescent materials that are beautifully colored during the day and glow brightly in the dark, it is also popular as outdoor and disaster prevention goods.

Of course, you can also choose your favorite color combination for the phosphorescent effect!

This product is planned and manufactured by Maruhachi Kasei Co., Ltd., a plastic injection molding manufacturer established in 1974.

Using injection molding technology and quality control cultivated over many years in automotive and industrial parts, and newly acquired know-how in phosphorescent materials, we have produced each one in our own factory in Japan. We have completed a small yet lightweight and durable carabiner.
