Neo-Emotion Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Masamitsu Ishibashi), a company that operates gourmet conveyor belt sushi and seafood izakaya restaurants under the vision "Bringing Yokohama's Food Culture to the World," will release three limited takeout menu items—"Premium Whole Eel Unaju," "Jumbo Eel and Sushi-Style Tamagoyaki Set," and "Standard Unaju"—on July 26, 2026 (Sun), in celebration of the traditional Day of the Ox.

Day of the Ox Limited Menu

The Allure of Premium Eels from Shizuoka Prefecture

The highlight of our offering is the "Premium Whole Eel Unaju" (¥5,900 including tax). First, take note of its impressive size. This bold dish features an entire thick, plump eel grilled to perfection. The special house-made tare sauce enhances the natural sweetness of the eel, making the rice incredibly appetizing. The rice portion is a generous 500g—truly a substantial and satisfying meal.

Perfect for sharing with family and friends, or for savoring all by yourself—it's your choice how to enjoy it.

Homemade Tamagoyaki, a Star in Its Own Right

The "Jumbo Eel and Sushi-Style Tamagoyaki Set" (¥2,800 including tax) features a generous portion of our homemade tamagoyaki, delicately sweet and infused with savory dashi aroma. This standout dish makes the tamagoyaki a co-star alongside the eel, making it especially popular with children. The thick eel fillets, richly glazed with our special tare sauce, pair perfectly with the tamagoyaki.

Perfect for a Small Indulgence

The "Standard Unaju" (¥1,800 including tax) features generously layered thick-cut eel, the same high-quality cut served in our stores and already popular with customers. This is the perfect choice for those seeking a modest luxury.

Beyond the Conveyor Belt: A Gourmet Experience

At our conveyor belt sushi restaurants, skilled "Shokunin" (craftspeople) prepare authentic sushi right before your eyes.

Our luxurious thick-cut eel from Shizuoka Prefecture delivers rich, full-bodied flavor in every bite. Finished with our special tare sauce, it offers a delightful balance of savory aroma and the eel's natural sweetness.

※At Neo-Emotion, we refer to our artisans as "Shokunin."

<About Neo-Emotion>

Founded on April 5, 1996, Neo-Emotion operates gourmet conveyor belt sushi and seafood-focused casual izakayas primarily in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Since opening the first "Maguro Monoya Miura Misaki Port" conveyor belt sushi restaurant at Yokohama World Porters in October 2001, the company has expanded to operate five distinct conveyor belt sushi brands, including theater-style "Maguro Monoya Miura Misaki Port" locations energized by Shokunin, and "Maguro Monoya Megumi," which combines express lanes with a full order-system. As a direct-operated sushi restaurant chain, Maguro Monoya consistently offers over 30 varieties of tuna and a wide selection of fresh seafood. The company champions a new definition of sushi artisans—"Shokunin"—emphasizing not only technical mastery but also the evolution of traditional sushi culture for modern times. To this end, Neo-Emotion has established the "90-Day Sushi Shokunin Training Program," through which new hires prepare customer sushi within 90 days of joining. The company aims to provide immediate hands-on experience, shifting training focus toward purpose and achievement, with Shokunin development as a core mission.

In December 2025, the company launched "Maguro Monoya Nidaime Marushiro," a new concept under the theme "A Casual Izakaya for Special Occasions." While its sushi restaurants feature premium fresh seafood, its izakayas actively promote underutilized fish species, contributing to revitalizing Japan's fisheries industry.
