World's Largest Bass Festival 'Rampage' to Hold Japan's First "16+ Event"

Core Music, which operates the festival brand "Core Music," announced that the after-party for "Rampage Roadshow Tokyo Vol.2," the world's largest bass music festival, will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the "Ohjo Building" in Shinjuku, Kabukicho. This event will be Rampage Japan's first "FIRST TIME 16+" performance, targeting individuals aged 16 and over. It aims to bring the authentic Rampage experience to younger bass fans who were previously unable to participate due to the nature of late-night events.

Furthermore, overseas artists from the main ZEROTOKYO event (May 30), including MURDOCK B2B TAKERU & MC MOTA, PHASEONE, and SAMPLIFIRE, will perform All Exclusive Sets for a limited capacity of just 50 people. In an extremely close-up setting, completely opposite to the large-scale main event, the Rampage sound pressure will reverberate through Sunday evening.

■ Japan's First. Rampage Opens Its Doors to Ages 16 and Up for One Night.

The biggest news for this event is that it will be held for the first time in Rampage Japan for ages 16 and over.

The world's largest bass festival 'Rampage' is a celebration enjoyed by a wide range of generations, mainly held outdoors in its home country of Belgium.

In Japan, however, due to the use of club venues, events were held late at night, making it difficult for those under 20 to participate. This after-party is a challenge to break down that barrier. By setting an early time slot from 18:00 to 22:00 on Sunday, strict wristband management for those under 20, and a complete restriction on alcohol provision, an operational system has been established to ensure younger participants can attend safely.

This initiative was realized from the organizers' desire to "deliver the authentic Rampage experience to the next generation of bass fans who have previously been blocked by club doors."

■ ALL EXCLUSIVE SET — A Luxury Limited to 50 People

Top acts who shake large floors at the main event will perform All Exclusive Sets in a small venue limited to just 50 people.

MURDOCK B2B TAKERU & MC MOTA
MURDOCK, the director of 'Rampage' in his home country of Belgium, and organizer TAKERU will perform a Special B2B Set. MC MOTA's mic will hijack the space.

PHASEONE
Heavy dubstep producer from a metal background, signed to 'Disciple Recordings' run by Excision, will unleash HEAVY BASS in a small venue.

SAMPLIFIRE (SMPL)
The most important figure in heavy dubstep, who thrilled the world with his collaboration 'MELLOFIRE' with Marshmello, will showcase a techno set under his alias "SMPL."

KAGURA B2B TAKERU / RNG / YASUKI
Artists leading the Japanese bass scene will gather. An intimate heavy bass experience that cannot be felt in the large ZEROTOKYO venue. The 50 tickets are expected to sell out immediately.
