Suke-san Udon will begin selling four new udon and donburi (rice bowl) menu items starting at 9:00 AM on Thursday, June 18. The items will be available at stores in the Kyushu, Yamaguchi, and Okayama regions, excluding some locations.
The new udon dish, "Katsuobushi Udon," is a simple kake udon topped generously with carefully selected, flavorful bonito flakes. The addition of bonito flakes to Suke-san Udon's signature dashi broth creates an even more savory experience. Customers can also choose to have it with soba or thin noodles.
From the donburi menu, three new items from the "Suketama Don" series will be introduced. The highlight is the "Negi Ontama Suketama Don," which features the standard "Suketama Don" (onions and tempura bits simmered in dashi and bound with egg) topped with plenty of green onions and a soft-boiled egg (onsen tamago). Other new additions include the "Ontama Suketama Don" (with a soft-boiled egg) and the "Negi Suketama Don" (with extra green onions).
