Founded in 1976 in Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu City, Sukesan has been warmly supported by many as a daily dining spot for 50 long years. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.

A convenient and casual place, a place you can visit in your everyday clothes, a place you can drop by on a whim.

A place that is always there for you—on days you feel energetic, on days you feel sad, and on ordinary days.

A place you can visit with family, alone, or with friends. A place for everyone.
That is what Sukesan Udon is.

Just as it has been for the past 50 years, we want to continue being a restaurant that stays close to your daily life.

The slogan for Sukesan's 50th anniversary is "Sukesan de i-yan" (Let's just go to Sukesan).

Some may perceive the phrase "Sukesan de i-yan" as implying a compromise, but that is not the case at all.

We believe that being able to say "Let's just go to Sukesan" and feeling comfortable enough to visit us that casually is one of the greatest charms of Sukesan Udon.

For example, like saying, "What should we do for lunch?" "Let's just go to Sukesan."
For example, like saying, "I'm hungry." "Let's just go to Sukesan."
For example, like saying, "Should we stop somewhere?" "Let's just go to Sukesan."

A restaurant where you can say "Let's just go to Sukesan" in casual, everyday conversation is the very image of Sukesan Udon that we hold dear.

We at Sukesan Udon want to continue being a restaurant that stays close to your daily life and is worthy of being called "the place to go" regardless of changing times or generations. We want to remain a place that, while not extraordinary, is always there for you.

We have poured these feelings into our 50th-anniversary slogan, "Sukesan de i-yan."

Throughout our 50th-anniversary year, we will proudly display this slogan as a message to all of you.
