Towards a System that Responds to the Concerns of Local Pet Owners, from Primary Care to Surgical Consultations

For families living with pets, various medical needs arise according to their life stages, not only for daily health consultations and preventive medicine but also for neutering/spaying, and dermatological, oncological, dental, and surgical procedures.

On the other hand, many pet owners are unsure where to turn for advice when surgery or specialized procedures are required after consulting with their regular veterinarian.

As a veterinary hospital that serves as an accessible point of contact for pet owners while also being able to appropriately connect them with necessary medical care, we will support the peace of mind of pets and their families.

Animal Medical Care Aimed for by ALCA

ALCA aims to be a hub for "pet wellness," a place not only for when pets are sick but also for casual consultations regarding daily health management, prevention, and changes in condition.

In addition to primary care, preventive medicine, health check-ups, and thorough explanations to pet owners, with the appointment of Director Minami and the strengthening of our medical system, we will contribute to the local community as a veterinary hospital capable of handling a wider range of medical needs, including same-day surgeries and consultations for surgical procedures.

Director Takeshi Minami's Comment

I have been appointed as the director of Minatomirai Pet Wellness Clinic ALCA.

ALCA aims to be an accessible veterinary hospital where local pet owners and their pets can easily consult about everything from daily health concerns to prevention and treatment for illness.

On the other hand, in veterinary medicine, there are many cases in daily practice that require surgery or specialized judgment. With this strengthening of our system, while valuing primary care, we will create an environment where consultations for same-day surgeries and surgical procedures can be made as needed.

We, the entire staff, will sincerely engage in medical practice to provide clear and thorough explanations to pet owners and to help them choose the best medical care for their pets.
