Matsuya Foods Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Musashino City, Tokyo; President: Kazutoshi Kawarabuki) will begin selling "Butter Chicken Curry" at "Matsuya" restaurants, known for gyudon, curry, teishoku, and other rice bowl dishes, starting from 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

This year's unique flavor boasts added richness and aroma, thanks to the finishing touch of adding butter at the store.
"Batachiki," which boasts one of the top two spots among Matsuya's curry menu items, is finally making its sixth reappearance. The curry sauce, rich with the umami of coconut milk and tomatoes, is complemented by generously sized chicken pieces juicily grilled on an iron plate, and a rich butter and spice flavor that stimulates the appetite. This year, by adding a piece of butter at the store as a finishing touch, the butteriness has been further enhanced.
