Handheld Data Logger TC-37M

Tokyo Measuring Instruments Lab Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masashi Kimura) will launch "TC-37M," a new model in the "TC-37" series of handheld measuring instruments. (Orders will begin on May 7, 2026).

Based on the compact, high-speed, and high-performance TC-37K, this is a strain gauge measuring instrument specifically optimized for the 4-gauge method with a single measurement point.

Despite its low price, it achieves measurement accuracy equivalent to higher-end models with a resolution of 1×10−6 strain and a measurement range of ±30000×10−6. Optimization of functions has achieved low power consumption, enabling long-term measurement for one year with only four AA alkaline batteries. In addition, a temperature sensor is built into the main unit, allowing simultaneous monitoring of changes in the surrounding environment of the measuring instrument along with the target data.

Furthermore, it has a built-in data memory for recording measured data and an interval timer for automatic measurement. Data can be retrieved via SD card, as well as transferred and controlled by connecting to a PC.

Equipped with GL Input Mode for Water Level Measurement

The TC-37M can use the "GL Input Mode" as a measurement mode suitable for water level measurement. In this mode, by setting the depth from the ground level at the start of measurement to the water surface and measuring water level fluctuations with a water level gauge, the current water level from the ground surface can be displayed and recorded.
