[Award-Winning Work] The Work of Expressways (Field Edition) _ NEXCO Maintenance Kanto

About This Project

The recruitment video for NEXCO Maintenance Kanto, "The Work of Expressways (Field Edition)," was produced with the aim of conveying the "real lives" and "pride in their work" of field employees who protect the safety and security of expressways, which are social infrastructure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to job seekers.

Regarding infrastructure maintenance work, which tends to carry preconceptions of being "tough" and "rigid," this video carefully depicts the honest feelings of young employees, their serious expressions at work sites, and the at-home atmosphere of the workplace during their time off. It conveys their "coolness" and "strong sense of mission to protect the ordinary" in a realistic documentary format, showcasing their support for demanding tasks such as road repairs and snow/ice control at various sites, including the Nagano Office.

Mr. Shoma Nebashi, Assistant Manager, Planning Section, Planning Department, NEXCO Maintenance Kanto

Comments from the Person in Charge

This project began with the question, "How can we most directly convey the hidden pride and approachable true selves of the young employees working on the front lines of the field?" We feel that we were able to realistically weave together the strong bonds fostered by the harshness of the field, encapsulated in the phrase, "Don't take returning safely for granted," and the pride hidden in the words, "If I don't do this, the expressway will stop."
