Yuhi Komiyama (born 1973 in Harajuku, Tokyo; graduated from Seijo University)

As keyboardist and vocalist of the music group Hoff Dylan—celebrating their 30th debut anniversary in 2026—he has produced numerous hit songs and CM jingles and remains active today.

Beyond music, he appears on various media such as 'Kodama Kunido Tokyo Kaigi' (BS Fuji) and 'Manmaru' (NHK Radio), and has ongoing columns in Bungeishunjū Online, Asahi Shimbun Digital, Tabelog Magazine, and Otona no Shumatsu Web. Known as the 'Gourmet Boss of the Music Industry,' his previous works include 'Delicious! Homemade Curry' (Asahi Shimbun Publishing) and 'New Introduction to Izakaya' (Mynavi Publishing).

He is also the longest-serving tourism ambassador for Shibuya Ward, his hometown.

A 52-year-old who loves alcohol, gourmet food (especially curry and soba), and Disney.

Author's Comment

'I set a personal rule: write one story a day for a month.'

With no commission or serialization in mind, I simply wrote what I wanted to write. I'm delighted that these essays have now become a book and will reach readers.
