Japan Race Promotion Co., Ltd. (JRP), which operates the All Japan Super Formula Championship (hereinafter referred to as "SUPER FORMULA"), Japan's top motorsport, announced that actress Suzuka Tomita will perform a solo rendition of the national anthem before the final race of the "BOAT RACE 2026 All Japan Super Formula Championship Round 8 Tohoku Tournament," to be held on August 8 (Sat) and 9 (Sun) at Sportsland SUGO (Murata Town, Miyagi Prefecture). On the same day, she will also appear in a talk event held in the event plaza and as a local reporter for the ABEMA broadcast.

Suzuka Tomita, known as a passionate motorsport fan in the entertainment industry. After graduating from Hinatazaka46, she transferred to the talent agency TRUSTAR. Tomita, who is continuing her acting career after playing the role of June in the musical "GYPSY" and completing 34 performances, will make her first appearance at Sportsland SUGO for the SUPER FORMULA Round 8 Tohoku Tournament!

Suzuka Tomita's Comment

I am Suzuka Tomita, and I will be performing the national anthem solo at the Super Formula Round 8 tournament.

I'm already excited thinking about the thrilling races that will surely match the scorching August sun.

This will be my third time singing the national anthem. I will sing with all my heart, savoring the special tension of singing on the silent circuit, with the wind blowing on the home straight, so that it will be a wonderful day for all the drivers, teams, and everyone who comes to the venue!

I hope to see you all at the circuit!
