[170th Anniversary] Company Event Held on Lake Biwa on May 25th: Rediscovering Corporate Philosophy and Local Resources

Boarding the paddle steamer 'Michigan' from Otsu Port, employees reaffirmed their corporate aspiration to 'deliver daily essentials and create future abundance' while enjoying the scenic Lake Biwa, and shared their appreciation for the support received over the years.

Founded in 1856, Ogakame marks its 170th year with the brand message 'Make History.' Through its energy and food businesses, the company continues to provide daily necessities and create future prosperity.

The event was conceived as part of the 170th-anniversary project, with preparations beginning in August 2025. It elevated the annual financial results meeting into a special ceremony in an extraordinary environment.

The program included a talk session by department heads, long-service awards, and recognition for outstanding employees, honoring daily efforts and fostering a culture that enjoys challenges. The approximately 80 participating employees rediscovered the value of local resources through this special time spent on Lake Biwa.
