(Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Kenji Kawazoe; hereinafter "Green prop"), as a Director of the company.

Background and Purpose of the Appointment
In recent years, as the demand for resource circulation and decarbonization grows, the waste management industry is expected to play a role beyond mere "disposal," serving as a sophisticated resource circulation system and sustainable social infrastructure. Achieving this requires not only "hardware"—diverse facilities and advanced technology—but also collaboration with "software," which handles connections with society, such as on-site operations, support for waste generators, and resource circulation design.

Toyama Kankyo Seibi has continuously challenged itself to solve social and regional issues through waste-based business, leveraging innovative technology and diverse processing facilities cultivated over half a century, as well as developing agricultural businesses that collaborate deeply with the local community.

On the other hand, Green prop has built its strengths on software-based expertise, including consulting capabilities cultivated on-site while working closely with customers in waste management support and CSR/sustainability areas, branding to improve social recognition of the waste management industry, and an organizational management style that promotes business in unity with employees.

I have been appointed as a Director of Toyama Kankyo Seibi. Having been involved in the waste industry for nearly 30 years at Green prop, I believe that waste management is an infrastructure that supports the foundation of society. It involves every process from the birth of a product to its use and end-of-life, circulating it as a new resource. Without this work, society would not function for a single day.

I believe that everything has value. Even what is called "waste" is just waiting for its value to be discovered; with the right technology and systems, it will surely turn into a resource. I believe that a resource-circulating society is such a world.
