Yamato Computer cultivates high-Brix tomatoes, reaching a maximum of 16 degrees Brix, during winter through meticulous cultivation management utilizing IT, achieving an impressive sweetness and deliciousness comparable to fruit. Specifically, they finely control the timing and duration of stress applied to tomatoes using their proprietary IT technology, reproducing the 'experience and intuition' of skilled farmers as much as possible, thereby maintaining a quality of over 10 degrees Brix on average.

Yamato Computer operates its own farms in Shizuoka and Shiga prefectures, engaging in smart agriculture utilizing technology. This award is one of the results of earnestly applying the data utilization and improvement activity concepts cultivated as an IT company to agriculture, diligently addressing daily cultivation management and quality improvement.
