[Event Report] Tsuchiya Co., Ltd. Holds "Care Summit 2026" to Discuss "Roles of Profit and Non-Profit" and "Quality and Quantity of Care"

As a total care company providing care services to people with disabilities and the elderly across all 47 prefectures of Japan, Tsuchiya Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture, Representative Director: Toshiyuki Takahama) held "Care Summit 2026 - Towards realizing co-creation for users, transcending roles -" on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Following the positive reception of the event, we are now releasing the event report. ## ■ Background of Event Implementation In the care and welfare industry, themes such as "the roles of profit and non-profit" and "the quality and quantity of care" have long been debated. In recent years, with the aging population, the demand for and attention to care and welfare services have continued to grow. Amidst the diversification of welfare providers, Tsuchiya organized "Care Summit 2026" as a venue for diverse stakeholders to gather and discuss these themes. ## ■ Event Overview The event was held in two parts. The first part featured a panel discussion with 5 speakers from government, industry, and academia, under the theme "Considering the respective roles of profit and non-profit in the medical and care fields." Discussions were held on the relationship between profit and non-profit in the care and welfare sectors, and their respective significance. The second part, themed "Considering the quality and quantity of care from diverse perspectives," featured 7 speakers from small to large-scale operators. Participants exchanged opinions by writing keywords on flip boards. Approximately 400 people attended the event on the day, combining in-person and online participation.
