[About Senshu Brass Band and Charity Concert]
Formed in June 1959 (Showa 34) by 11 employees, this workplace brass band is celebrating its 67th year. Beyond a mere in-house club activity, the band operates with the goal of "bringing joy to society, customers, and employees through music." In addition to brass band and classical performances, they broadly engage in various genres such as pops and jazz. They are also the only brass band in Japan to incorporate bagpipes, consistently receiving high praise at various events. The "Senshu Brass Band Charity Concert" is the most important activity for this band. It started in 1966 (Showa 41) and is now holding its 33rd event.
This concert invites visually impaired people to enjoy the performance, and all net proceeds from the concert are donated to organizations for the visually impaired. It is also sponsored by "Bunkyo City," "Yomiuri Light and Love Charity Organization," and "Tokyo Metropolitan Band Association."

Special Guest: Linda Yamamoto
Born in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1951. Started her career as an exclusive model for fashion magazine "Soen" in 1962, and debuted as a singer in 1966 with "Komacchau Na." This song became a million-seller, and the following year she made her first appearance on NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. In the 1970s, she gained attention for her bold costumes and sexy, energetic performances, releasing a series of hit songs such as "Dounimo Tomaranai," "Nerauchi," and "Kuruwasetai no." These songs became social phenomena, establishing her position as a top star in the Japanese music industry. Even now, her activities span widely across television, radio, concerts, and stage. Her repertoire includes many chansons, and she has appeared in the chanson festival "Paris Sai" for 36 consecutive years. Celebrating her 60th anniversary as a singer in 2025, she is truly a "legend" who has continuously maintained her presence in the Japanese entertainment industry for a long time.

Studied conducting at the Osaka College of Music affiliated music academy, and obtained a diploma (conducting) at the orchestra workshop of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria. Appeared in the final concert. In addition to serving as a judge for brass band competitions, he instructs school bands and adult bands nationwide, and also performs with the Osaka Symphony Orchestra, Senri Philharmonia Osaka, Wind Ensemble Sou, etc. He is the chairman of the Kansai Brass Band Instructors' Study Group, a secretary of the Japan Sousa Association, and a member of the 21st Century Brass Band "Hibiki no Utage."
