The subsidiary was founded in August 2025 with the aim of expanding business in the Asian region and strengthening the global supply system. With the full launch of this facility, Koyo will further enhance its overseas expansion centered on its Vietnam base, in collaboration with its subsidiary Koaka Seiki Co., Ltd., which specializes in high-precision, durable die design and manufacturing. This enables the stable and rapid local supply of high-quality precision springs.

## Background of Establishing the Vietnam Facility

In recent years, manufacturing industries have increasingly diversified their production bases overseas. Particularly in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, manufacturers in sectors such as electrical equipment, machinery, automotive parts, home appliances, and electronic devices have expanded their production. Alongside this trend, there is a growing demand for stable procurement of high-quality precision springs locally. In response to this need, Koyo has established a manufacturing and sales base in Vietnam.
