Announcement of Recruitment for "Switch on! Camp" Adventure Education Program to Expand Children's Potential

Imabari Yume Sports Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has begun recruiting participants for the "Switch on! Camp" adventure education program, to be held in July and August 2026, as part of the activities of its educational initiative, "Shimanami Outdoor School." Applications are now open on the program's official website.

What is Switch on! Camp?
"Switch on! Camp" is a program designed to foster life skills and "switch on" the genes of children, unlocking their potential.
By immersing themselves in nature, participants learn to appreciate the everyday, discuss and cooperate with friends to overcome challenges that cannot be faced alone. We hope to awaken the dormant potential within each child and enrich their lives, even just a little.
This year, activities are divided into sea and mountain settings, offering two programs: "Island Adventure Camp" and "Survival Journey."

11th Island Adventure Camp (9 nights, 10 days) ~ Encountering a New Self You Don't Yet Know ~
Participants will cross to an island by boat, learn survival skills like making fire on the beach and foraging for food, building a foundation for life. They will paddle sea kayaks, moving to neighboring beaches in rhythm with nature, undergoing a challenge camp before heading out to sea towards an uninhabited island. It's a journey where participants freely create their own experience because there is nothing pre-set. Through this, they will encounter a new self they didn't know existed.

1st Survival Journey (7 nights, 8 days) ~ A Journey to Discover What's Truly Important ~
Immerse yourself in the deep forests of Imabari, make fire to cook, and set up tents to sleep. Experience the essence of living through camping. In solo activities, spend a night alone. After confronting solitude, collaborate with friends to create a "village" from scratch in the forest. In the latter half of the journey, carry all necessary equipment and food, climb trackless mountains, and cross steep rivers. This is the moment when what was once "normal" transforms into a "thank you" for sustaining life. When you join hands with friends and reach the "phantom land," you will gain the confidence to overcome any difficulty that was dormant within you.

Survival Journey Recruitment Overview
