Gotomatsu Tsubaki Distillery Co., Ltd. (President: Kunihiko Monta, Head Office: Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture) will sequentially release a limited-edition bottle series (three varieties) in collaboration with Miraco Machiko, a painter and picture book author based in Amami-Oshima, starting July 23, 2026 (Thursday), on a limited-quantity basis.
This collaboration features three limited-edition gins, each specially blended with botanicals that reflect the unique worldviews depicted in the labels, which are original artworks by Miraco Machiko inspired by the landscapes of Goto Islands.
The first release, 'GOTOGIN Yurameku Katachi ~Ibitsuna Batake~ (Irregular Field),' will launch on July 23 (Thursday). The second, 'GOTOGIN Yurameku Katachi ~Tsubaki no Kara~ (Camellia Shell),' and the third, 'GOTOGIN Yurameku Katachi ~Kibinago Hitoyaboshi~ (Dried Round Herring),' will be sequentially released from autumn 2026 onward.
Gotomatsu Tsubaki Distillery aims to expand its craft gin fanbase with innovative flavors and aromas unlike anything seen before.

Product Features:
・A limited-edition gin with botanicals specially blended to match the 'Ibitsuna Batake' label, an original illustration by Miraco Machiko inspired by Goto’s natural scenery.
・The label depicts the 'Maruhata' (round fields), found in certain areas of Goto. These unique circular fields were formed by plowing around a central post after clearing camellia forests, using oxen to till the land.
・The botanical blend includes the standard 18 ingredients plus five locally sourced Goto-grown ingredients: bell pepper, cucumber, organic green tea, thyme, and wild mint—totaling 23 botanicals that express the vibrant green of the island’s round fields.
・The gift box is also a special design by Miraco Machiko.
<Biography of Miraco Machiko>
An artist known for her expressive depictions of living creatures, Miraco Machiko has held solo exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. She received the Grand Prize at the 18th Japan Picture Book Awards for her picture book 'The Day the Wolf Flew' (East Press). Her works 'Me and Yellow' (WAVE Publishing) won the Golden Apple Award and 'The Scent of Beasts Approaches' (Iwasaki Shoten) received the Gold Medal at the Bratislava International Biennial of Illustrations (BIB). She has numerous accolades and published works, and was awarded the 41st Iwaya Sazanami Literary Prize. She also creates illustrations for books, CD jackets, and posters. Since 2020, her exhibition 'Animals Are My Mirror' has been touring national art museums. Her works evoke a deep connection with nature, capturing the presence of the unseen and the shimmering essence of life.
