Chuo Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yutaka Ishida) has signed a partnership agreement with Kyoto Sangyo University (Kita-ku, Kyoto City / President: Keiko Azuma) to foster human resources in the space business field. The objective of this agreement is to contribute to the region and society in this field, while simultaneously contributing to the development of the foundational human resources. Chuo Engineering has previously cooperated with the university's educational activities, and through this agreement, we will further strengthen industry-academia collaboration and provide practical learning opportunities, thereby contributing to the development of human resources who will support the future space business and the advancement of the space industry.
Chuo Engineering has previously cooperated in nurturing students aspiring to work in the space industry through lectures by our employees and by hosting visits related to rocket engine development at our offices and factories for Kyoto Sangyo University's Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, "Space Industry Course."
While promoting these initiatives, we were inspired by the university's efforts to "connect students in the Space Industry Course with the group of SMEs in the Kyoto Aerospace Network (KAIN)" and agreed to continuously promote the advancement of research and development by leveraging the knowledge of both industry and academia, while providing practical educational opportunities. This led to the signing of the current agreement.
Moving forward, through cooperation in educational and research activities, we will work to develop the next generation of human resources who will lead the advancement of the space industry, and actively contribute to the creation of new value through industry-academia collaboration.

- Lectures by Chuo Engineering employees in specialized subjects within the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science at Kyoto Sangyo University
- Hosting visits to Chuo Engineering's rocket engine development sites and offices
