Chuo Engineering Co., Ltd. Opens New Office "Manufacturing Solution Center" in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture

Chuo Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yutaka Ishida) opened its new office, the "Manufacturing Solution Center," in June 2026.

This will strengthen our one-stop solution capabilities, which handle everything from specification review, design, manufacturing, to testing, enabling us to provide higher quality and more reliable products and services.

Background of the Opening

Our company has leveraged its "one-stop solution service," which handles everything from proposal and consultation of specifications to design, manufacturing, and functional testing, as a core strength. In recent years, this business has continued to expand, particularly in the aerospace and defense sectors. Furthermore, especially in space-related fields, the need to complete processes requiring high environmental standards, such as cleanrooms, in-house has been increasing.

It was also an important challenge to improve quality and speed up development by consolidating processes that were dispersed across multiple external partner companies and our own offices into a single location, and by creating an environment where designers could work adjacent to the manufacturing floor. To address these challenges, we have opened the Manufacturing Solution Center.

Features of the New Office

This center is a unified facility integrating a design room with manufacturing and testing areas, and in addition to a large design room, it is equipped with a large manufacturing space, a semi-cleanroom, and a testing area.

The exterior is also distinctive, balancing an impressive design with the concept of diversity and universality for long-term use.

The manufacturing and testing area employs a flexible layout to accommodate a wide range of projects, from large, single-item products to precision equipment. It includes a manufacturing space (600m2) equipped with a 4.8t overhead crane, and a precision equipment assembly room (100m2) with a 0.5t electric hoist. The semi-cleanroom specification electrical assembly room (50m2) with HEPA air conditioning is equipped with two types of clean booths and one air shower, meeting the high cleanliness control requirements for space-related fields and other applications.

The design room (office floor) adopts a benzene-type layout with boomerang-shaped desks, creating an environment that facilitates both communication and concentration. Spaces such as a cafe area and meeting rooms are also provided, where employees can naturally gather and generate ideas.

Future Outlook

The Manufacturing Solution Center will further strengthen our system for consistently supporting customer manufacturing, from development to completion, with a focus on the expanding aerospace and defense sectors, while also considering expansion into other fields such as energy and environment. It will also play a crucial role as a base for our own product development, accelerating research and development and commercialization.

We will continue to strive for technological improvement and value creation as a one-stop company that "creates form from ideas," contributing to the growth of our customers and the development of society.
