Ichiru (hereinafter "Ichiru"), a kimono dressing school operated by Ichizou Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yoshihiko Kawahata), operates approximately 50 schools nationwide under the concept of "enjoying joy." Applications are now open nationwide for new students beginning classes this summer in July 2026.

◆ Beginner Course – "Learn the Basics of Kimono Dressing"

◇ No need to bring anything! Full kimono set provided free of charge

◇ Fee: 500 yen per lesson (2 hours) × 8 lessons = 4,000 yen total (tax included)

◇ Duration: Approximately 3 months total

◇ Class rescheduling available within the same week!

◇ Small group lessons allow you to ask questions and learn thoroughly

◇ Learn not only dressing techniques but also kimono-related knowledge and elegant etiquette

◇ Access instructional videos for at-home preview and review

After completing the beginner course, students can progress to intermediate, advanced, mastery, and certification courses. Learning deepens step by step according to individual proficiency and goals, allowing participants to steadily build technical skill and cultural knowledge. Operating approximately 50 schools nationwide as of April 2026, "Kimono Dressing School Ichiru" offers more than just instruction in basic kimono wearing and dressing techniques. Through various outings, events, and workshops, we support students in deepening their interest in kimono culture and overcoming common concerns such as "I never have the chance to wear kimono" or "I don't know how to care for it," helping everyone enjoy a richer, more fulfilling kimono lifestyle.

Ichizou Co., Ltd.

Established in February 1991. Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market. The company operates in two main business areas: traditional Japanese attire and wedding services. The Japanese attire business, including all brands and its subsidiary Kyoto Kimono Gakuin, operates 115 stores nationwide (as of March 2026) and an e-commerce site.
