The "Moving Yokai Exhibition TOKYO ~Imagination of Japan~" is the world's first immersive, experiential digital art museum where visitors can immerse themselves in Japan's proud yokai art, such as "Hyakki Yagyo Emaki" (Night Parade of 100 Demons scrolls), "Hyaku Monogatari" (100 Ghost Stories), "Oni" (demons), "Tengu," "Kappa," and "Tsukumogami," drawn by various artists from the Edo and Meiji periods, using cutting-edge video technology and three-dimensional modeling.

Japanese yokai, born from the rich imagination of ancient Japanese myths and legends, have been loved by people around the world across generations. Their humorous figures, depicted in yokai paintings and caricatures, are dynamically brought to life using cutting-edge digital technologies such as 3DCG, projection mapping, and holographic screens, while a realistic world of yokai is recreated through three-dimensional modeling.

Furthermore, with the cooperation of Nishio City Iwase Bunko, Japan's first ancient book museum, and the Yokai Art Museum in Shodoshima, the exhibition provides explanations of yokai culture, yokai paintings, caricatures, and yokai art, as well as unraveling the culture and history of yokai that connect to modern pop culture.

Please enjoy this new sensation art entertainment exhibition where adults and children alike can "enjoy, learn, and experience" yokai culture by getting lost in the captivating "YOKAI" world.
