Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1972. Graduated from Nagoya University Faculty of Education and completed the Graduate School of Education (Educational Psychology). Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Previously an Associate Professor at Chubu University, now a Professor at Waseda University's Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Specializes in personality and developmental psychology. His works include 'Psychology of Narcissism in Youth' (Nakanishiya Publishing, 2004), 'Learning Personality Psychology for the First Time' (Minerva Shobo, 2010), 'Talking about Psychology for Scientific Study of Personality' (Shin yosha, 2011), 'Science of Good and Bad Personalities' (Nikkei Premier Series, 2018), 'What is Personality?
