Legendary Gravure Idol Asuka Kishi Celebrates 15th Anniversary: 5th Photobook 'Trajectory' to be Released After 5-Year Hiatus!

Since her gravure debut in March 2012, Asuka Kishi has maintained a diverse career, appearing in films and dramas as an actor and becoming a popular presence on variety shows. Celebrating her 15th anniversary this year, she has decided to release her new photobook, 'Trajectory,' after a five-year hiatus. For Kishi, who has consistently pursued the art of gravure expression, this project was approached with the determination that it would likely be her final photobook of her 30s, leading her to challenge herself with her greatest level of exposure to date. Kishi herself named the title 'Trajectory,' which also plays on the Japanese word for 'miracle' (kiseki), to signify the path of her life thus far. Shot in Da Nang, Vietnam—a location she visited for the first time—the book showcases bold, photobook-exclusive shots and mature allure, ranging from cute swimsuit looks with radiant smiles to glamorous lingerie styles.
