Y's Hotel Asahikawa Ekimae (Asahikawa, Hokkaido) opened a new tatami-style raised seating area in its 3F guest lounge on June 3, 2026. The space offers a relaxing traditional atmosphere, featuring a kotatsu during winter. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks, ice cream, and a manga corner with 1,000 volumes. In addition, the hotel significantly renewed its breakfast buffet in April 2026 and added 5 new daily dishes in June 2026. The breakfast features live kitchen demonstrations serving fresh grilled lamb Genghis Khan from Hinode Foods with mountain wasabi, Kappa's Kenran eggs from Okuma Poultry Farm in Pippu, seafood dashi chazuke, and STYLE BREAD's melty salted butter bread. Opened in July 2018, the 160-room hotel also features a 12F public bath with a hinoki wood sauna. It is operated by Y's Co., Ltd. (Hasegawa Trust Group) and located a 1-minute walk from JR Asahikawa Station.
