Lucy+K Co., Ltd., which operates under the theme "Let's ferment life through art," has started holding the "Lucy+K 20th Anniv. Exhibition" for six days from Tuesday, May 26 to Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Ginza Novo 3F POP UP space (5-2-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
At this exhibition, along with tracing the 20-year history since our establishment in August 2006 of connecting people, regions, and cultures through art and design, we will introduce the values and relationships we have fostered with creators.
In the adjacent booth, a market event titled "Vaani the Bazaar 2026 – at Ginza Novo" by "atelier vaani," a creative project connecting India and Tokyo, is also being held concurrently.
Under the theme of "connecting people and regions," we have engaged in various activities involving Satoyama culture and the time of fermentation, Indian handicrafts and lifestyle, animal welfare activities, and art, music, and photographic expression.
In this exhibition, we present these 20 years of activities within a single space.
Through exhibitions, sales, POP UPs, and spatial design, we have prepared a "place to deliver culture as an experience."
[Animal Welfare]
Triggered by the "Tada no Inu. (Just a Dog)" exhibition held in 2005, Lucy+K has been creating spaces to think about a society where animals and humans coexist through art and design. In this exhibition, you can view the "25th Year Tada no Inu." panel photo exhibition by photographer Takayasu Hattori, who has been a long-time collaborator, "Is It Okay to Escape Together?" which considers pet disaster prevention, and the Tomohiro Noda original drawing exhibition at the protective cat support POP UP SHOP "Place where you meet cats."
In this project, along with introducing artworks and products by cat-loving creators and brands, we incorporate mechanisms that lead to adoptions, understanding of protected animals, and donations through collaboration with Johtofull Kumamoto.
A gallery talk event by Takayasu Hattori is also scheduled for the 27th.

[Satoyama Culture]
We introduce the Satoyama culture and fermentation culture of Nagano Nakajo, "time accumulating without haste," through photographs of diligent daily life.
Furthermore, on Thursday, May 28, "Global Local Culture and Japan's Satoyama Connected by Art" is scheduled to be held.
Welcoming Mr. Tatsuya Yamamoto, President of Seisen University / Professor of the Faculty of Global Citizenship / Ph.D., and Ms. Hikaru Fujita, Satoyama enthusiast / Member of the House of Representatives, we will look into the possibilities of local livelihoods and living with nature, using art and regional culture as clues.
Turning our attention to culture and handicrafts unique to a region should also serve as important hints when considering richness and sustainability in the future society.

[Indian Handicrafts]
At Vaani the Bazaar, various brands, creators, and organizations are participating, including "The Shop India," "Sheetal baid," "Psquuare," "AVANI," "CARMA," "awhile chai & soda," as well as "Viscum Flower studio," "saibath," "anbika shop," "LIFE SPICE SHOP," and "ART Inter National."
At the venue, while touching upon handicrafts, expression, and food culture related to India, you can enjoy how the local climate, creators' thoughts flowing there, resonate in modern-day Tokyo.
[Others]
Additionally, works and merchandise by affiliated artists such as the acoustic duo "Yohmao to Ohana" (Wool and the Flower), who are currently holding a POP UP in Taiwan, and 82-year-old new artist "JUICHI" will also be lined up.
For Lucy+K Co., Ltd., which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, the "Lucy+K 20th Anniv. Exhibition" is a milestone project to hand over to the next generation the perspective on culture and the attitude of connecting people, regions, and society that we have cherished thus far.
Also, through "Vaani the Bazaar 2026," starting from connecting the sensibilities of India and Tokyo, we will aim to broadcast culture suitable for the coming era while expanding our interest to themes such as animal welfare, Satoyama, local culture, handicrafts, and coexistence.
