Rinascente Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 3-604 Yoichi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Hisanori Tokairin) operates the Italian restaurant [La RINA] (read: La Rina) on the ground floor of the commercial facility "Kuraso Place Korinbo" in Korinbo, Kanazawa City. Among the two floors of the restaurant and cafe, the cafe floor features a wall exhibition space called "La RINA Cafe Wall Art," where craft and art works produced by Enkou Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 1-13-10 Higashiyama, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Ayumi Nohara) are exhibited and sold on a monthly basis.
Currently, a solo exhibition titled 'Takeshi Kudo Exhibition -Sentimental-' by Kutani ware artist Takeshi Kudo, who is based in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is being held. Mr. Kudo has taught for a long time since the establishment of the Ishikawa Prefectural Kutani Ware Technical Training Center and has been involved in the technical succession of Kutani ware. This exhibition features "sentimental remnants" born from his past experiences and thoughts, primarily focusing on two-dimensional works, which he has had few opportunities to create until now (until Tuesday, May 19, 2026).
Following this, from Friday, May 22, a solo exhibition titled 'Sumire Shinjo Exhibition' by dyeing artist Sumire Shinjo, who is based in Kanazawa City, will be held. This exhibition will feature works that incorporate printmaking techniques based on dyeing, capturing everyday landscapes and emotions from Ms. Shinjo's unique perspective (Friday, May 22 - Sunday, June 21).
Please enjoy a time where you can feel art closer to you in a cafe space that changes its expression with each exhibition.

■Exhibition Information
(1) 'Takeshi Kudo Exhibition -Sentimental-' ~Currently running until Tuesday, May 19, 2026
'Takeshi Kudo Exhibition -Sentimental-'
Works by Kutani ware artist Takeshi Kudo, based in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, will be exhibited and sold. Mr. Kudo taught for a long time from the establishment of the Ishikawa Prefectural Kutani Ware Technical Training Center until his retirement, and has been involved in the technical succession and human resource development of Kutani ware. He is truly a "living witness" who knows the history of the training center.
This exhibition allows you to view two-dimensional works, which Mr. Kudo has surprisingly had few opportunities to present during his long career. The works, created with a sense of bewilderment born from facing wall-mounted pieces and layering past experiences, memories, and thoughts, reflect the artist's own "sentimental remnants."
Please come and see the new expressions that Mr. Kudo, who usually focuses on three-dimensional works, has tackled as two-dimensional pieces.
Artist's attendance days will be announced on Instagram, etc., as soon as they are decided.

▶Takeshi Kudo's Statement
Thinking about works for walls was almost a first for me, so I created them with some bewilderment. As I proceeded with empathy for past experiences and thoughts, my intentions unconsciously went in various directions. What was expressed became my sentimental remnants.
