Received Orders for Construction of Two Grid-Scale Energy Storage Facilities in Fukuoka and Kagoshima Prefectures

Rising Corporation (Headquarters: Ikeda City, Osaka; Representative Director: Hidetoshi Ohto; hereinafter "the Company"), which promotes the realization of a sustainable society through its sustainability solution business, has received orders for land sales and construction of "grid-scale energy storage facilities" in Fukuoka and Kagoshima prefectures as of March 30, 2026.

■ Background and Purpose of this Contract

In recent years, with the expansion of renewable energy introduction, adjusting the power supply-demand balance against fluctuations in power generation due to weather conditions has become an issue. To solve these issues, the Company is promoting the grid-scale energy storage business, which contributes to the stabilization of the regional power grid and the effective utilization of renewable energy.

We have successfully concluded a contract with a customer in the Kyushu Electric Power jurisdiction area who is interested in promoting renewable energy businesses and decarbonization, after they evaluated our grid-scale energy storage business.

■ Overview of Target Properties

The grid-scale energy storage facilities for which we have concluded contracts this time are the following two locations. Both are planned to have a scale of 2MW/8MWh and will be facilities that contribute to regional power stabilization.

① Energy Storage Facility Location: Akune City, Kagoshima Prefecture

Power Conditioner Output (AC): 2,000kW
Storage Capacity (DC): 8,000kWh
Property Handover (Scheduled Start of Operation): December 2026

② Energy Storage Facility Location: Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture

Power Conditioner Output (AC): 2,000kW
Storage Capacity (DC): 8,000kWh
Property Handover (Scheduled Start of Operation): January 2027

■ Future Outlook

To continue contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society and the construction of regional energy infrastructure, the Company will actively develop and sell grid-scale energy storage facilities nationwide. Aiming to acquire orders for 10 high-voltage energy storage facilities worth approximately 6.5 to 7 billion yen within this fiscal year, we aim to deepen partnerships with local companies and contribute as a regional infrastructure company in renewable energy.
