Melonbooks Online Store Introduces Cashless Payment Service "au PAY"

Melonbooks Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Yushima, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Daisuke Matsui) has introduced "au PAY" as a new payment method for purchases on its online store.

Starting July 1, 2026, au PAY will be available for all product payments on the Melonbooks and Fromage Books online stores.

To commemorate the introduction, Melonbooks will also be holding a limited-time campaign offering even greater savings when using au PAY for payments on the Melonbooks online store.

All customers who pay with au PAY during the campaign period (July 1 - July 31) will receive a valuable coupon for use on the Melonbooks online store.

Coupon distribution is scheduled for approximately August 3 - August 7, 2026.

In conjunction with the introduction of au PAY, two additional updates have been implemented (already in early implementation).

1. Redesigned Payment Method Selection UI

Melonbooks has been focused on adding payment methods to offer as many options as possible to our users.

Along with the introduction of au PAY, the payment selection screen has undergone a design update.

We aim to create an easier-to-understand site and promote an improved purchasing experience for our users.

2. Combined Shipping via Mail Service Now Available

Previously, if you wished to combine orders for shipping, it was only possible via delivery service, regardless of package size.

With this update, combined orders can now be shipped via mail service.

*This is only applicable if the combined items fit within the size regulations for mail service.
