Mediwell Co., Ltd., which provides career support services for doctors, conducted a survey on 'Doctor Working Conditions' and published the results from 1,511 doctors nationwide. This survey investigated overtime hours, on-call/night duty realities, and the presence of part-time work. The results revealed that hospital doctors working five or more days a week average 25 hours of overtime per month, and about 60% of doctors handle on-call duties. Furthermore, the survey highlighted differences in working styles depending on the workplace, such as 90% of university hospital doctors engaging in part-time work. On the other hand, it was also revealed that approximately 78.0% of doctors are satisfied with their current working conditions.
