Ice cream lovers accounted for 52.9% (3,684 people), and chocolate lovers accounted for 47.1% (3,283 people). It was a close contest with a difference of about 6 percentage points.

For ice cream lovers, "cold and refreshing" was the overwhelming reason. Heat and a sense of exhilaration garnered support.

For chocolate lovers, "easy to eat" was the most common reason, followed by "rich sweetness" and "enjoyable regardless of the season."
