MAKERZ Inc. HVAC Wear is a hybrid cooling garment combining a large Peltier device with a silent fan. The heat from the Peltier device is exhausted outside the garment through a dedicated mechanism. A centrifugal fan structure that sends air in a circumferential direction circulates air along the body, making the garment less prone to ballooning.

Furthermore, 'A battery worn under the scorching sun must be safe.' Liquid electrolyte mobile batteries degrade faster at high temperatures, increasing the risk of swelling and fire. HVAC Wear is the first in the industry to adopt the 'SOLIDZ' semi-solid mobile battery, which significantly reduces these risks. It is a garment designed to be worn every day, regardless of season or location, providing a comfortable environment and safety.

What is 'HVAC' Wear?
HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, a term related to building and factory climate control. HVAC Wear is MAKERZ's first air-conditioning garment that combines heating, ventilation, and air conditioning in one piece of clothing.

Product Features
[Hybrid] Two cooling methods in one garment.
It adopts a hybrid cooling structure that integrates a 'large Peltier device' for instant cooling and a 'silent fan' for quiet, cool airflow. Three Peltier elements are placed near the large arteries under the armpits and neck to efficiently lower the body's core temperature and mitigate the risk of heat stroke. It is designed to cool not just the surface but the core of the body.

[Heat Exhaust] Peltier heat does not get trapped inside the garment.
HVAC Wear is equipped with a mechanism to exhaust the Peltier device's heat to the outside. Unlike wearing a fan-equipped garment over a Peltier vest, there is no worry of the Peltier heat being trapped inside the garment. The Peltier device, which is in close contact with the body, stays against the skin, maintaining cooling efficiency.

[Centrifugal Fan] Suppresses ballooning.
It employs a centrifugal fan structure that sends air in a circumferential direction. Air circulates along the body, making the garment less prone to ballooning. This is not just about appearance. HVAC Wear has a dual-layer structure: a Peltier inner layer and a fan outer layer. If the outer layer balloons, the Peltier elements placed close to the body move away from the skin, reducing cooling efficiency. The centrifugal fan was adopted as the optimal solution for this hybrid structure.

[Silent] You can talk normally with the person next to you.
The silent fan is designed to continuously provide an 'optimal breeze' for practical use. It does not significantly interfere with conversations with people nearby.

[Balance] Distribute weight to the left and right.
Two general-purpose mobile batteries with USB output independently drive the silent fan and the large Peltier device. The batteries are separated to the left and right not only for balance. Even if the battery for the high-power-consumption large Peltier device runs out first, the silent fan will not stop. You can quickly resume operation by replacing just one side. There is no distinction between the left and right batteries; the universal connector makes them interchangeable. The equal distribution prevents garment twisting or bias to one side.

The 'Semi-Solid Mobile Battery SOLIDZ,' which significantly reduces the risk of fire, explosion, and swelling under direct sunlight, is adopted as the standard battery. Liquid electrolyte mobile batteries degrade faster at high temperatures, increasing the risk of swelling and fire. A battery worn in extreme heat must be truly safe and reliable—that's why MAKERZ chose a semi-solid battery that is highly resistant to both heat and impact.

[All-Season] Can be worn even after summer.
Cooling and heating can be switched with a single button. It is useful in all seasons, from scorching summers to chilly weather. For heating, simply close the heat exhaust zipper on the back of the garment. The holes that released heat during cooling become a heat-retaining wall. The large Peltier elements can also be repositioned to the abdominal area (near the solar plexus). With five attachment holes, the position can be changed according to the season or physical condition.

[Design] Suitable for any place.
The hood can be removed with snap buttons. On-site, it does not interfere with a helmet; in the city, it has a clean silhouette. Removing the sleeves allows heat exhaust from the armpits, complying with work regulations requiring long sleeves. The Peltier inner vest is detachable with buttons, allowing the inner layer, which easily gets sweaty, to be washed separately. If all fans and large Peltier devices are removed, it functions as a water-repellent, UV-protective windbreaker. You can go straight to the city after work without needing to change clothes.
