MIRAI SPEAKER's New Ear-Cuff Sound Collector Exceeds 300 Million Yen in Crowdfunding, Achieving All-Time No. 1 Record

Based on the vision of "enriching 100-year lives with technology," MIRAI SPEAKER Co., Ltd. (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroshi Yamaji; hereinafter "the Company"), which aims to create a society where everyone can live brightly and positively through the power of technology, is pleased to announce that its ongoing project on the crowdfunding site "GREEN FUNDING" for the world's first ear-cuff type sound collector equipped with a hearing adjustment function*1, "MIRAI SPEAKER Ear" and "MIRAI SPEAKER Ear Lite," has surpassed 300 million yen in total support.

Furthermore, this project has achieved the all-time No. 1 position*2 in total funding for the earphone category (including sound collectors) on GREEN FUNDING (as of May 20, 2026). In addition, to allow more people to actually experience the product, we will start exhibiting it in Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, and will also hold experience events.

## Background of the Launch

The Company has been facing the issue of "difficulty hearing" for over 10 years. Our home-use "MIRAI SPEAKER®" series, equipped with our proprietary "Curved Sound®" technology, has delivered a cumulative 400,000 units*3 as a speaker that improves the audibility of television dialogue, and we have received feedback from many customers saying, "I can now enjoy watching TV with my family."

However, as we listened to our customers' voices, it became clear that hearing challenges do not stop just in front of the television.

There are approximately 13 million people in Japan who have hearing difficulties*4. Situations where people find it "hard to hear" are everywhere in daily life: conversations with family, lunches with friends, and meetings at the workplace.

Many people gradually distance themselves from conversations in this way.

Behind the tendency to leave hearing difficulties unaddressed, we found that many people feel a resistance to wearing hearing support tools in their ears. There are "three walls" here.*5

In addition to the need to enjoy daily conversations more for oneself, the need to give it as a gift to family members has also provided a boost, leading to this achievement of surpassing 300 million yen in support.

Furthermore, we believe that becoming the all-time No. 1 across GREEN FUNDING's entire earphone category is not only proof of high support as a sound collector, but also a result that reflects the social background that "there are that many people who have inconveniences and anxieties about hearing conversations."

Also, since we have received many requests from various regions saying, "I want to try the actual device before considering it" or "I want to experience it with my family," we have decided to start exhibiting in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya, and hold experience events.
