Masdac Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokorozawa City, Saitama; Chairman: Bunji Masuda), a provider of solutions for various food manufacturing issues, will exhibit at 'FOOMA JAPAN 2026' held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) from June 2nd to June 5th, 2026. At this exhibition, Masdac will propose services that increase added value for customers by addressing wide-ranging challenges in food factories, such as labor saving, energy cost reduction, quality stabilization, and yield improvement through live demonstrations and panel displays.

As an example of a solution for reducing product loss and saving labor, Masdac will demonstrate a fully automated stencil-type sandwich cookie line incorporating quality judgment functions, product replenishment robots, and weight measurement functions. The system uses images to judge products on the line and ejects defectives. Furthermore, a robot replenishes good products into the ejected spots, and the weight is automatically measured before and after the 'System Depoly' filler in the finishing process, showcasing the strengths unique to professionals in both confectionery and machinery.

[Key Points of the Exhibit]
Under the theme of Masdac's 'Total Solution Service,' the booth will introduce a comprehensive support system from product development to after-sales service through solution corner guidance and production equipment demonstrations. Additionally, a new line integrating digital technology with depositing, baking, and conveying equipment is scheduled to be exhibited. By providing one-stop services, Masdac enables efficient problem-solving for customers.
Our booth: West Hall 1, W1-36-24

[Exhibition Content]
Solution Proposals:
We provide one-stop solutions that take consistent responsibility from 'confectionery product development' to 'provision of production equipment' and 'contract manufacturing (OEM).'
Five items of the one-stop solution:
1. Confectionery development, consultation, and prototyping
2. Equipment proposals
3. OEM consultation
4. Factory operation know-how
5. After-sales support

Reducing Product Loss and Labor Saving:
A fully automated stencil-type sandwich cookie line with quality judgment, replenishment robots, and weight measurement functions will be demonstrated. This system reduces loss and saves labor by automatically ejecting defectives based on image analysis, replenishing them with good items via robots, and measuring product weight before and after the finishing process. An 'Automatic Transfer Robot' that substitutes for heavy labor by automating the transport of food containers (banju) will also be demonstrated.

Improving Quality and Yield with DX:
Masdac will propose DX solutions to realize stable quality and improved yield, including 'MOMS' (Masdac Operation Monitoring System) to monitor the operating status of each device, and multivariate analysis technology that collects data from preparation and production processes to investigate cause-and-effect relationships when defects occur.

Reducing CO2 Emissions and Energy Costs:
The 'Eco Bake' tunnel oven, well-received for its low environmental impact and energy-saving effects, will be exhibited as the core band oven of the fully automated sandwich cookie line. Our Eco Bake contributes to CO2 reduction and lower energy costs.

Band Oven (SBOS)

Enhancing Added Value through Topping:
A system combining the 'Light Depoly' (a tracking-type multi-functional filling and molding machine) with a topping robot will demonstrate cream depositing, topping, and cookie sandwiching, proposing both labor saving and value enhancement.

Five Standalone Machines:
Many compact standalone machines suitable for automating manual tasks will be on display:
- Dorayaki machine for multi-variety, small-lot production
- 'Depoly' single-row piston filler
- 'Tart Forming Machine' for large tarts
- 'System Depoly' unit-type filling and molding machine
- 'Stencil Molding Machine' for uniform application of dough of various thicknesses
