Micro Magazine, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, has launched the manga serialization of The Exorcist Reincarnation: What Should a Fox-Faced, Kansai-Dialect, Nasty Guy Do in a Harsh Eroge World? on the monthly web comic magazine Comic Ride Advance and Raicomi. Based on the popular GC Novels title, the series is a Japanese-style battle fantasy set in an eroge world filled with brutal ayakashi and beautiful women. It follows the lonely and hopeless, yet occasionally harem-filled, battles of Kansai’s strongest scoundrel. The manga is illustrated by Nagamaru Inashige, based on the original novel by Chichi Komiyaji, with original character designs by Fuyuyuki Nanahara. The story takes place in the Reiwa era, in a Japan where ayakashi and exorcists fight deadly battles. Naoshi Katsuragi, acting head of the prestigious Katsuragi family of exorcists, realizes that he has been reincarnated. Worse still, the world overrun by ayakashi is actually the setting of a hard-edged modern supernatural eroge. Considering the abuse he has hurled at his companions so far, he seems destined to become a doomed fall-guy character. To change his fate, and for the beautiful women seeking his help, his battle begins. Volume 1 of the original GC Novels release is now on sale, with Volume 2 scheduled for release on May 29, 2026.
