White Canvas Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Atsuko Nishihata) concluded its second fiscal year on June 30, 2026.

With the philosophy of "Creating a society where people can have hope for the future," our company provides support that views presentation as a part of career development, enabling working women to express their unique value with confidence. By the end of our second year, 15 individuals had participated in our flagship service, the mentoring consulting program "Jibun Design Honki Juku." Among the six graduates, two were promoted to management positions, and one successfully passed the interview for their desired company. Additionally, our lectures for female leaders received a 100% participant satisfaction rate, and our corporate training programs were highly evaluated. This year marked an expansion of the knowledge gained from individual support into corporate training, media, and product planning.

Second-Year Achievements - Changes Born from "Jibun Design Honki Juku"

"Jibun Design Honki Juku" is not merely a fashion school aimed at teaching people what clothes suit them. It is a mentoring consulting program that helps working women organize their own value and strengths, articulate "what kind of person they want to be at work," and naturally express this, including through their attire.

Through supporting over 4,000 working women to date, we have identified a common challenge: the question of "What should I wear?" often stems from deeper inquiries about their careers, such as "What do I want to be?" and "What kind of presence do I want to have at work?" Driven by this understanding, our company has continued to support each individual in conveying their inherent value to society in a way that is true to themselves, primarily through our mentoring consulting program "Jibun Design Honki Juku."

To date, 15 individuals have participated, including women in leading roles across various fields such as management, specialized professions, public service, research, and sales. Of the six who have already completed the program, two have been promoted to management positions, and one has successfully passed interviews for their desired company during their job search, demonstrating their progress in advancing to the next stage of their careers.

Specifically:

- Those who have taken on their first subordinate and are now responsible for team management. - Those who have passed interviews at their desired companies and embarked on new career challenges. - Those who have utilized the job posting system to transfer to departments in their preferred job roles. - Those who have enhanced their presence through challenges on an international stage. - Those who have expanded their careers as specialists handling world-renowned luxury brands. - Those who are looking towards their second careers and have started acquiring new qualifications.

And so on, each individual is beginning to walk a career path that is true to themselves. Our focus is not on "changing clothes" but on creating a state where individuals can "work and thrive authentically."

Currently, "Jibun Design Honki Juku" has participants such as the following:

- Those aiming to become one of the few female managers in male-dominated industries like manufacturing and construction. - Those who are eligible for senior management examinations and aim to pass, including improving their presentation skills during the examination and interview. - Those who are re-evaluating their presence with their subordinates due to a sudden increase in department members following a transfer. - Those aiming for advancement through their presentation skills in a new department after changing jobs.

Working women at various turning points, such as challenging for management positions, taking on new roles, changing jobs, or shifting careers, are continuing their pursuit of building careers true to themselves, guided not only by "how they want to be seen" but also by "who they want to be."

Key Initiatives in the Second Year - Sharing Knowledge Gained in Honki Juku with Companies and Society

The second year also saw the knowledge cultivated in "Jibun Design Honki Juku" expand to companies and society.

◼️ For corporations, we conducted training and lectures targeting female leaders.

We covered themes such as "Appropriate Presentation," "Building Trust as a Professional," and "Balancing Individuality with the Impression Required by the Organization." In the corporate training sessions conducted, out of 15 participants surveyed, 13 gave the highest rating of "5" on a five-point scale, and 2 gave a rating of "4." Furthermore, our lectures for female leaders received a 100% satisfaction rate from all participants, indicating high regard.

◼️ Served as a Voicy Personality for Nikkei Woman Official.

Representative Director Nishihata is a first-term member of the Nikkei Woman Ambassador program. Additionally, as a personality for the official Nikkei Woman Voicy channel, she hosted 17 episodes over four months from March to June, broadcast every Saturday, focusing on the theme of "Diversity" and discussing the careers and self-expression of working women.

◼️ Filed a trademark application for "Hokaku JacketTM."

An example of how the "Hokaku JacketTM" can be worn in various ways. It "encompasses" diverse items and situations.

Driven by the desire to increase options for working women so they can face work with confidence and without hesitation each morning, we are also engaged in new value propositions. The "Hokaku JacketTM" is a concept for a jacket born from the voices of working women who want to "look professional, but not necessarily in a suit." It "encompasses" body shape, accompanying items, and wearing scenarios, allowing for the expression of personal trustworthiness.

◼️ Opportunities for opinion exchange with program participants and graduates were provided for product planning of domestic apparel.

With the cooperation of participants and graduates of "Jibun Design Honki Juku,"

"For work, I want not only functionality but also a sense of trustworthiness."

"At work, I don't choose based solely on convenience."

"Both appearance and practicality are necessary."

These candid voices, born from their daily work experiences, were highly valued in product planning.

Participants of "Jibun Design Honki Juku" also shared comments such as:

"It was a valuable experience to be involved in the product development process."

"I realized that my work experience could be useful to society."

"Jibun Design Honki Juku" is not just a place to learn and finish. It is a place where each working woman brings their experience and perspective cultivated in their daily work, which then leads to the creation of corporate products and services, and further benefits other working women. The emergence of such a cycle was one of the defining events of our second year.

All of these initiatives are driven by the desire to "increase the number of women who can convey their value authentically and thrive long-term," rather than merely teaching "what to wear." The knowledge gained from "Jibun Design Honki Juku" is beginning to expand beyond individual changes to create new value for companies and society.

Comment from Representative Director Atsuko Nishihata

Thanks to everyone's support, White Canvas Inc. has successfully completed its second fiscal year. What made me happiest looking back on this past year was seeing the participants of "Jibun Design Honki Juku" embark on new challenges in their respective fields. Some were promoted, some took the new step of changing jobs, and others took on new roles. Even those in the same departments or roles have started acquiring qualifications or beginning new stages. Furthermore, the insights and achievements gained from supporting each individual's challenges are beginning to expand into society through corporate training and product planning.

I believe that fashion is not the goal itself, but a means to convey a person's value to society. Enabling working women to demonstrate their abilities authentically and to take on challenges with confidence. I believe the accumulation of these efforts will create new value for companies and society.

In our third fiscal year, we will continue to work towards building a society with hope for the future, centered around "Jibun Design Honki Juku" and supporting the challenges of each individual.

Towards the Third Fiscal Year

In our third fiscal year, we will further enhance "Jibun Design Honki Juku" and expand our initiatives to give back to society the knowledge gained from individual support, including corporate training, educational content creation, and product planning.

In recent years, with the advancement of AI, the value of knowledge and information itself is rapidly changing. On the other hand, human values and trust, such as "Why we want to entrust this to you specifically" and "What kind of thoughts and character do they possess?" are becoming more important than ever. Especially for working women aiming for high-level careers, in an era where there are few readily available role models, having a criterion for judgment – not based on "what to wear," but on "what kind of person do I present myself as in society?" – is essential for building a future career.

"Jibun Design Honki Juku" is not simply a place to learn about diagnostics or trends; it is a mentoring consulting program that equips individuals with the knowledge and judgment criteria for presentation necessary to build a career true to themselves. We continue to support each individual in expressing their value authentically, while also valuing the perspectives and connections gained from women active in diverse industries.

We are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis. For program details and information sessions, please contact us via the inquiry form on our company website. Moving from an era of seeking role models to an era of cultivating one's own judgment criteria. White Canvas Inc. supports this judgment criterion through the lens of "presentation."
