Best Life Higashi-Nihon Co., Ltd. (Sapporo, Hokkaido / President: Rumi Ito), a group company of Best Life Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo / President: Rikio Nagai), will open the nursing care facility 'Best Life Tsukuba' in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, in October.

Guided by the principles of 'providing affordable pricing so that individuals requiring care and their families can continue living safely and securely' and 'ensuring elderly individuals can live safely and securely in their familiar communities, even if they become bedridden or require support due to dementia,' Best Life has expanded its trusted reputation and track record from its first facility (Best Life Takahata, Hino City, Tokyo) to 203 locations across 24 prefectures nationwide. This marks the first opening in Ibaraki Prefecture. In preparation for the October opening, on-site viewing and residency consultation appointments have been available since July 2 (Thursday). Additionally, a 'Completion Preview Event' will be held on July 14 (Tuesday). Both are free of charge.

Regardless of whether you are considering residency, we are hosting a one-day 'Completion Preview Event' open to all, providing an opportunity for local residents to learn about Best Life's elderly care homes.

On the day, we will feature demonstrations of caregiving techniques and various recreational experiences. To help visitors envision life after moving in, we will also display artwork, interior decorations, and sample meals. Individual consultations after the tour will be available upon request.

We will also prepare an information corner introducing the 'Nemuri CONNECT' monitoring support system (by Paramount Bed Co., Ltd.), scheduled for implementation at Best Life Tsukuba.

Monitoring Support System 'Nemuri CONNECT'

Using motion sensors placed under the mattress, the system measures residents' heart rate, breathing, and other vital signs on the bed. Data is shared via tablets and other devices to support non-intrusive care, monitoring, and resident status assessment without disrupting sleep.

Residents aged 60 and over, whether requiring care or not yet certified for long-term care, are eligible to reside. Best Life Tsukuba is a Tsukuba City-designated Long-Term Care Insurance Special Facility. Facility care managers create personalized care plans based on each resident's needs and preferences. Care staff are on-site 24/7 to provide services according to the care plan. Nursing staff work during daytime hours (9:00–18:00) and collaborate with visiting physicians to support daily health management.
