BayCurrent Inc. announced that it will use training programs provided by Global Security Experts Inc. (GSX), including the management-oriented Official CISSP CBK Training and the engineer-oriented Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) course, to develop 200 professional consultants in security management and engineering. BayCurrent said it has received particularly strong demand for cybersecurity support as cyberattacks become more sophisticated alongside the spread of cloud, AI, and broader digital transformation. The company also cited its position as a Japanese consulting firm well suited to handling highly confidential consulting services. GSX, positioned as a cybersecurity education company, provides certification training for IT companies and system integrators and has extensive training experience and seasoned instructors. With GSX’s support, BayCurrent aims to accelerate the development of cybersecurity talent. BayCurrent plans to continue using training programs from GSX and other external organizations to develop talent on an ongoing basis and provide high-quality support to more clients. The selected programs cover two internationally recognized certifications: CISSP for management professionals and CEH for engineers. CISSP training covers the eight domains of the ISC2 CISSP Common Body of Knowledge, while CEH is designed to help participants acquire white-hat hacking skills that combine knowledge, techniques, and attack methods, enabling stronger defensive judgment from an attacker’s perspective. Because CISSP and CEH are difficult to obtain, the number of certification holders in Japan remains limited, and CEH MASTER holders are said to number only around 80. By using GSX’s courses and hands-on training environment, BayCurrent aims to train 200 holders of these certifications and strengthen its comprehensive cybersecurity consulting capabilities, spanning security management through engineering. The training will be offered to employees who wish to participate, including future hires. After obtaining certification, participants are expected to work on solving a range of cybersecurity challenges. BayCurrent also said it is strengthening mid-career hiring in cybersecurity, welcoming both experienced security professionals and people from adjacent fields such as infrastructure, development, and operations who want to expand their expertise.
