These collaboration products will be available from Wednesday, May 13, at the Brooks Brothers official online store and Brooks Brothers stores (excluding outlet stores).

Please enjoy this special edition, custom-ordered from Reyn Spooner, a brand loved by trad fans for many years.

Item 01: Limited Edition Commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States

Shirts: ¥30,800 INC. TAX each

Reyn Spooner annually releases limited designs to celebrate America's Independence Day on July 4th. This year marks the 250th anniversary of independence, making these items even more significant. This season, a collaboration shirt based on that anniversary model has been created. By removing the chest pocket, the dressy feel is enhanced, and Brooks Brothers' iconic "Golden Fleece" embroidery is added. Furthermore, the hem has been changed from the usual straight cut to a natural round shape. This subtle arrangement creates a distinctly different look when the hem is untucked, perfect for those who appreciate attention to detail.

Festive Patterns and American Traditional Icons Coexist

A design combining the American national bird, the bald eagle, the Stars and Stripes, the Hawaiian state flag "Ka Hae Hawaiʻi," and hibiscus flowers. It's a vibrant piece expressing "Hawaiian summer," "celebration," and "resort mood." The navy embroidered Golden Fleece is subtly incorporated into this design. This collaboration model intertwines the histories of America, Hawaii, and American traditional style.

Item 02: Classic Short-Sleeved Shirt Custom-Ordered Without Pockets

Shirts: ¥30,800 INC. TAX each

This Aloha shirt features Reyn Spooner's signature "Lahaina Sailor" pattern. On the wrinkle-resistant and durable "Spooner Cloth," the Hawaiian state flag "Ka Hae Hawaiʻi," the state flower "Mao Hau Hele," the state bird "Nene," and the state tree "Kukui" are arranged. The unique faded color is achieved by printing the pattern from the reverse side. The charm also lies in how it develops a unique character with wear. The Brooks Brothers custom model, like the 250th-anniversary shirt above, features a pocketless design and a round tail. This season, three colors with mild tones that pair perfectly with beige and white pants have been produced.

Golden Fleece Embroidery as an Accent

The navy embroidered Golden Fleece is added to the clean, pocketless chest. This expresses a basic yet iconic balance. Notably, a characteristic of Reyn Spooner is its button-down collar. In addition to looking neat even as a relaxed Aloha shirt, its compatibility with American traditional items is also appealing.

Item 03: Pullover That Feels Like a Polo Shirt

Shirts: ¥30,800 (White) ¥33,000 (FUN specification) INC. TAX

This shirt features the same Lahaina Sailor pattern as above, but in a pullover style. It gives a cleaner impression than a full-open shirt and can be worn like a polo shirt. It's great worn simply on its own or layered with a T-shirt underneath. The look can also be changed by how much the buttons are opened, allowing for various nuances. In addition to the simple white x navy color scheme, a "FUN" specification, typical of Brooks Brothers, is also available. The body, collar, sleeves, and pockets are finely color-blocked to create a pop and lively feel. This version retains the pocket while also featuring the Golden Fleece embroidery, like the others.

Round Tail That Shines When Untucked

A common feature of the Brooks Brothers custom Reyn Spooner shirts is the round tail hem. The original has a straight-cut hem, but these have a slight curve. When worn untucked, the slope towards both sides creates a light impression around the waist. It also pairs well with traditional clothing such as pants with center creases.

What's Reyn Spooner?
