"Revue Starlight the Movie," released on June 4, 2021, continues to boast strong popularity.

Since the theatrical release, the evolving sparkle of the Stage Girls has continued to captivate fans, expanding across various media including new stage plays, live concerts, comic adaptations, and console games.

The dazzling sword fights of the "Revue," where Stage Girls aim to become "Top Stars" and compete for "Position Zero," continue to enthrall audiences.

This year, in commemoration of the 9th anniversary of the "Starlight Project" and the 5th anniversary of the release of "Revue Starlight the Movie," the first phase of anniversary initiatives will be held in June 2026, exclusively at T-Joy affiliated theaters.

Furthermore, as the second phase, revival screenings are planned to be held nationwide, including T-Joy theaters, starting in September.

What is "Revue Starlight the Movie"?

Synopsis

"Starlight" -- a beautiful tragedy of farewell.

Two girls, bathed in the sparkle of this play, exchanged their destinies.

Eventually, they stood on the "Stage of Fate" and reproduced a "New Chapter" where they met again beyond tragedy.

Girls who grasped the stars at the top of the tower.

So, what is the conclusion of that new chapter?

"We are already on the stage."

What is "Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight"?

Since the project's launch in 2017, "Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight" has been a multi-layered development project where the main cast members also serve as voice actors for the anime and game characters. It has regularly featured stage plays, anime, live concerts, recitation plays, comic adaptations, games, and various merchandise developments, and will finally celebrate its 9th anniversary in 2026. A new stage play is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo in May 2026. Furthermore, the production of a completely new animation was announced in January '26.
