In December 2001, 'D.C. ~Da Capo~ in Holy Night Ultimate Battle' included in 'Archimedes no Wasuremono' was well-received, and the series began with the highly anticipated release of 'D.C. ~Da Capo~' in June 2002.
After that, numbered titles were released: 'D.C.II' in May 2006, 'D.C.III' in April 2012, 'D.C.4' in May 2019, and 'D.C.5' in January 2023. Over 20 titles including fan discs depicting after-stories have been released, recording total series sales of over 750,000 copies.
