Fourth installment of the "O-Shukatsu" film series announced!

Fresh Hearts Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuyo Sakurai), the planning and production company for the "O-Shukatsu" film series, has decided to produce the fourth installment, "O-Shukatsu 4: Koshun! (tentative title)", in response to the warm support received for the currently released film "O-Shukatsu 3: Koshun! Jinsei Memories".

The "O-Shukatsu" series, with its concept of "laugh, cry, and be useful," has been supported by many as a work that provides an opportunity to think positively about the latter half of life.

The fourth installment will tackle the new theme of "end-of-life planning for singles" that contemporary society faces.

With the advent of a 100-year lifespan and the increase in single-person households, more people are facing anxieties about the future, including personal guarantors, housing, nursing care, and monitoring. On the other hand, there are also more seniors who, as they age, maintain their "curiosity," challenge new things, and wish to live life to the fullest.

"O-Shukatsu 4: Koshun! (tentative title)" will resonate with people living in modern times, conveying the series' consistent message that "thinking about the end of life is about living life more richly," with warm humor and emotion.

Furthermore, this film aims to be a new content platform that connects society and people through entertainment, by communicating social issues in collaboration with corporations, local governments, and various organizations. Preparations are currently underway to form the production committee, centered around the companies that have supported the series so far.
