In recent years, as demand for enriched experiences through travel and tourism grows, the awareness of welcoming dogs as family members has spread, leading to an increasing need for pet tourism where people want to enjoy travel with their dogs. To meet these needs, our facility has been working to create an environment where visitors can enjoy themselves with their dogs, including providing pet strollers for small and medium-sized dogs and introducing pet strollers for large dogs in response to customer feedback. Now, as part of our 10th-anniversary project, we are fully renovating our dog run and grand opening "SKY DOG RUN."

"SKY DOG RUN" is located on a scenic hilltop, allowing you to enjoy the superb views of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and the suspension bridge with your dog in a spacious outdoor atmosphere. The dog run features soft natural turf and is divided into areas for small/medium-sized dogs and large dogs. Additionally, a photo spot with the magnificent scenery as a backdrop will be available, allowing you to create memorable moments with your dog.

Furthermore, the new cafe "Forest Station Kicoro cafe," located in the free-entry area before crossing the suspension bridge, will offer seasonal menus using vegetables sourced directly from local farmers in Mishima and Susono. For dogs, there will be a "Healthy Pizza Set with Local Ingredients" featuring pizza and vegetable soup, and a "Seasonal Salad Rice" whose contents change seasonally to reflect the four seasons. In "Kicoro Forest," beyond the suspension bridge, you can enjoy a walk with your dog on a leash amidst the rich nature where sunlight filters through the trees.

Mishima Skywalk aims to be a facility that offers everyone who visits a variety of experiences along with the superb views of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, and the suspension bridge.

Introduction to Vegetables Used at Forest Station Kicoro cafe

The vegetables used at Forest Station Kicoro cafe are directly delivered from Food Culture Renaissance, a producer in the Hakone Seiroku area, which also supplies vegetables to the French restaurant "Maison KEI" in Gotemba. This garden is located approximately 4km in a straight line from Mishima Skywalk, and fresh vegetables arrive at the cafe every morning.

The Hakone Seiroku area, the same as Mishima Skywalk, is a mountainous region overlooking Mt. Fuji, with soil that is a mixture of red soil containing minerals and volcanic ash from Mt. Fuji, providing an excellent balance of drainage and water retention, creating an environment where vegetables can grow healthily. Food Culture Renaissance cultivates over 300 varieties of heirloom and native vegetables using natural farming methods in this land rich in natural blessings. They cherish the journey "from seed to mouth," following the 24 solar terms and 72 micro-seasons. The cafe conveys the culinary charm unique to Mishima by incorporating the producer's passion and the freshness of the morning-delivered vegetables into its menu.
