[What is the Appetizers for Papa's Break Fair?]
This project offers Italian appetizers (Zeppole) as a drink order benefit limited to fathers (papas) during the 16-day anniversary festival period, which includes 'Father's Day' on Sunday, June 21.
2026 marks the major milestone of a full quarter-century (25 years) for 'Fortuna', the parent company of the authentic Italian bar 'Bar Del Sole'. During this period, special benefits such as app-exclusive coupons will also be prepared. The first five days (until June 14) will overlap with the 'Mother's Day' project that started on May 9, making it a grand appreciation period for 'both parents'.
Also, since Father's Day in Italy is celebrated every March, this campaign period in June is a special period that 'does not even occur in the home country'.

[Why push Father's Day alongside the Anniversary Festival?]

In authentic Italian Father's Day, it is a deep-rooted custom to eat fried (or baked) sweets called 'Zeppole' as a ritual to express gratitude to 'papas'. While Zeppole are often known as doughnut-like sweets in Naples, 'Bar Del Sole' serves them in an 'appetizer' style, made by kneading raw seaweed into fermented dough and frying it, which pairs perfectly with alcohol.

[Why not match it with the Italian Father's Day in March?]
Simply because Father's Day in Japan is in June.
Italy and many other countries do not have a culture that emphasizes the 'fiscal year' starting in April. We believe the timing in June is the best opportunity to celebrate fathers in Japan, away from the busy fiscal year-end period in March.
