A Question Born from Over 40 Years of Inquiry

The inquiry of Yumiko Otani, founder of Miraishoku Tsubutsubu, began with the questions:

"Who am I?"

"How can people live more freely and harmoniously?"

In 1982, her encounter with traditional Japanese grains (zakkoku) sparked her exploration of future food, and in 1995, she published a book summarizing a dietary style aligned with the mechanisms of life,
"Miraishoku: Deliciously Surviving the Age of Environmental Pollution."

For over 40 years since, she has continued to convey the connections between

through practice.

People who resonated with her inquiry have led to the establishment of over 120 Tsubutsubu cooking classes nationwide. She has authored over 40 books, with cumulative sales exceeding 400,000 copies.
