We are pleased to announce that "Hakone Gora TEN (Ten-ten)", which has been preparing for a new opening in Hakone Gora, will be rebranded as "Hakone Gora KAIKA (Kaika)" to elevate the facility's brand identity to a higher level of experience.
In conjunction with this, we have started accepting first-phase accommodation reservations on our official website today for the grand opening in the summer of 2026.

Background of the Name Renewal: Why did we go from "TEN" to "KAIKA"?
Since the start of the project, we have been searching for a place of rest that serves as a punctuation mark (TEN) in life. However, as we deepened our development, we became convinced that what modern guests truly seek is "self-regeneration" beyond mere rest.
The result of our thorough pursuit of the ideal "recovery" experience is the word "KAIKA" (開花, meaning 'blooming'). Just as a bud opens after a harsh winter, it symbolizes the moment of "healing and regeneration" where one's inherent vitality and sensibility are naturally awakened through the stay.
By further deepening the concept of the conventional "TEN" and as a new brand that promises essential recovery, we invite everyone to the moment of "KAIKA."
"Sukiya Resilience" - A New Retreat Stay
"Hakone Gora KAIKA" advocates the concept of "Sukiya Resilience." It is about touching the essence of traditional Japanese culture in a space imbued with ancient Japanese aesthetics. Through this, one recovers from daily wear and tear and regenerates flexible strength. It is a completely new Japanese-style retreat experience.
At our facility, the flow of the stay is designed as a three-stage experience: "Prepare, Open, Fill." Through hospitality based on the spirit of Ichigo-Ichie (one time, one meeting), we promise moments of healing and regeneration where guests' inherent vitality and sensibility are naturally awakened.

Features of Hakone Gora KAIKA
1. Sky Tea Room and a "Prepare" Stay - A Moment of Tranquility Blending with the Superb View
The "Sky Tea Room" located on the top floor is a special space that symbolizes our facility. It offers the luxury of savoring carefully selected tea while overlooking the Hakone mountain range and the ever-changing nature of Gora. We propose a stay that allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, simply gaze at the scenery, and listen to the sound of the wind. At dusk, you can experience a deep sense of peace and relaxation as your mind and body are released against the backdrop of the mountains dyed in crimson.

2. "Open" in Relaxing Guest Rooms - Different Designs and Gora Hot Springs
Common to all guest rooms is a sense of openness and warmth that makes your heart bloom, as the name "KAIKA" suggests. Based on a modern design with the scent of natural wood, the rooms are designed with an emphasis on privacy. You can enjoy different tastes in each room, such as large windows that frame the outdoor nature like a painting, and private open-air baths where you can fully enjoy Gora's hot springs. Please relax and forget the time with your loved ones in a private space.

3. Restaurant "SUI" Offering Tea Kaiseki Supervised by a Michelin Chef
Japanese restaurant "SUI" is a tea kaiseki restaurant themed around circulation. It offers tea kaiseki supervised by a chef from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The dashi (broth) gently permeates the body, filling the mind and body quietly like water. Water is the source of life. Stagnant senses and energy begin to circulate, preparing, opening, and filling. Experience "Sukiya Resilience" through a dish found only here.
Dinner: The composition emphasizes "highlighting the contours of the ingredients themselves," exploring the spirit of the tea ceremony. We offer a deeply gentle course where the meticulously prepared dashi permeates the body.
Breakfast: Adopting the traditional "morning tea kaiseki" style. Warm white porridge cooked in an earthenware pot and a two-tiered box filled with seasonal side dishes richly fill the mind and body.
