At "fumotto Minami-Alps," a regional revitalization facility adjacent to the Costco Minami-Alps Warehouse Store, located in front of the Minami-Alps IC on the Chubu-Odan Expressway, we are pleased to announce the start of "fumotto Night Market 2026," a major event that will become a summer tradition, beginning Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Last year, its inaugural year, the event garnered significant attention as a rare authentic night market in Yamanashi Prefecture, attracting a large number of visitors throughout its run. It also gained recognition as a new initiative for "cool tourism" by being held in the evening to avoid the intense daytime heat, and was featured in numerous media outlets, including TV Tokyo's "World Business Satellite," as well as other TV programs, newspapers, and web media.

In 2026, we are expanding our offerings to ensure that families can fully enjoy summer nights with a diverse range of content, including local gourmet food, wine & beer bars, food trucks, children's festival stalls, Obon dances, stage events, fireworks displays, outdoor karaoke, and a night pool.

Our goal is to attract 300,000 visitors during the event period, surpassing last year's achievements, and to establish a new night tourism landmark representing the summer in Yamanashi.

[Seeking Vendors!]

"fumotto Night Market 2026" is currently recruiting vendors who will help liven up the venue. We welcome applications from all genres, including food trucks, tent dining, crafts, workshops, children's festival stalls, agricultural product and processed food sales, antiques, fortune-telling, massage services, art, beauty services, nail art, and flea markets.

We look forward to entries from unique shops that will join us in creating Yamanashi's new summer night attraction.

[Night Pool Held Simultaneously!]

This year, we are again collaborating with "fumotto Water Park" to hold a night pool concurrently throughout the event period. This year's pool will be even more scaled up, featuring the addition of two large new water slides imported from the United States, as well as newly established areas for safe play for children and a relaxing bath area.

During the day, it will operate as a water park where children can play to their hearts' content, and at night, it will transform into a magical, illuminated night pool, offering different ways to enjoy it depending on the time of day. After enjoying the pool, visitors can indulge in food and shopping at the night market, providing a unique summer stay experience only at fumotto Minami-Alps.

[Numerous Special Programs to be Held!]

We are delighted to announce the return of the "Team Bub" soap bubble performance, which was a huge hit last year, and singer Ichinonomori Taiko. Furthermore, centered around weekends and holidays during the event period, we plan to hold a variety of special programs, including live music, dance performances, DJ sets, Obon dances, street performances, stage shows by local community groups, and special projects sponsored by corporations.

We are currently in negotiations with various performers and organizations, and confirmed programs will be announced sequentially on our official website and social media.

We are also seeking event planners and organizers who can host events such as dance, music, comedy, and performances during the night market period. Additionally, we are accepting applications from entertainers, performers, and creators specializing in street performances, music, dance, comedy, and more, who wish to perform on our stage.
