Papas Sponsors 'La Folle Journee TOKYO 2026'. Area Concert Held at Papas Mademoiselle Non Non Marunouchi Main Store

Papas Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Papas') will sponsor 'La Folle Journee TOKYO 2026', held from Saturday, May 3 to Monday, May 5, 2026, proposing an experience of spending time with music at the Tokyo International Forum and the Marunouchi area.

In this initiative, we will develop a space centered on music, crossing between the event venue and the Marunouchi main store. As a place that connects the lingering resonance of the event to daily life, we will provide a new experience for visitors.

■ Sponsorship and Sales of Limited Edition T-shirts

We have produced T-shirts featuring original graphics with music motifs by illustrator Jun Iida. In addition to being worn as staff uniforms at the venue, 40 limited pieces of the same design T-shirt will be sold. It is a special item that allows you to 'wear and take home' the memories of the event.

At the Marunouchi main store, we will hold an area concert linked with the music event on Saturday, May 3. We offer a special time where you can enjoy shopping and music simultaneously.

Kazuna Muramatsu (Oboe)
Born in Mie Prefecture. Graduated from the music department of Aichi Prefectural Meiwa High School and Aichi University of the Arts. Won the Gold Prize and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at the 16th Japan Junior Wind and Percussion Competition. 2nd place at the 2nd JOA Oboe Competition. 9th generation member of the Geigeki Orchestra Academy for Wind. Has studied oboe under Yosuke Terashima, Hokuto Oka, Yukiko Sugihara, and Ami Kaneko.

Kengo Takama (Clarinet)
Graduated from the Wind and Percussion course, Instrumental Music major at Aichi University of the Arts. Performed at the 40th Yamaha Wind Instruments Newcomer Concert (Clarinet section). Performed in the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera for Children and Music Concert in 2020. 2020 Aoyama Music Foundation Scholarship Student. Currently a researcher affiliated with the Teatro Giglio Showa Orchestra.

Yui Kaji (Bassoon)
Completed Master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. Performed in the 73rd Fukuoka performance of the Emerging Musician Development Project Orchestra Series. 10th generation member of the Geigeki Orchestra Academy for Wind. Currently a member of the Showa University of Music Teatro Giglio Showa Orchestra. Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Workshop Leader.

A cello quartet formed in 2013. The name comes from the hope that people gathered there will share the fun and joy of music through their performances and be connected by ties of the heart. To date, they have held independent performances in Tokyo and Sendai, and performed in the 'Miyamoto 300-seat Theater' organized by the Funabashi City Miyamoto Community Center. They also handle arrangements, pursuing music unique to 'Yui'.

By connecting the venue and the store, it is designed so that the entire town can enjoy the music event.

'La Folle Journee' (LFJ)...

'La Folle Journee' is a classical music festival born in 1995 in the western French port city of Nantes with the slogan 'Democratization of Classical Music'. Artists gather from all over the world to perform top-tier concerts from morning to night, with each performance lasting about 45 minutes at low prices. In Japan, it has been held every Golden Week since 2005. In addition to paid performances, there are open programs such as concerts in the above-ground plaza where anyone can casually enjoy performances, master classes, and numerous events (concerts, children's programs, lectures, etc.) that can be participated in by showing a paid performance ticket (or stub), enjoyable for everyone from children to adults.
Also, during the music festival, mini-concerts are held in surrounding areas such as Marunouchi, enveloping the whole town in music.
