Talk session by three designers born in the 80s who work on notable hotels. With increasing attention on inbound tourism and hotels for high-net-worth individuals, how do they capture the true needs of diverse guest segments and incorporate the required functions and forms into lodging spaces? Based on their diverse latest projects (TRAN.SCENDER® HÔTEL / BRACKETS HOTEL / RETONA HAKONE, etc.), they will explore the new hotel landscapes envisioned by the next generation.

Takaomi Ohira
Born in Tokyo in 1980. Completed the first half of the doctoral program in Architectural Engineering at Nihon University Graduate School of Science and Technology in 2004. Established Takaomi Ohira Architects in 2007. Became Representative Director of OSKA&PARTNERS Co., Ltd. in 2014. Part-time lecturer at Nihon University College of Science and Technology, Department of Architecture from 2018-2022. Major works include "TRAN.SCENDER® HÔTEL," shared office "BLOCKS EBISU," "FMF Clinic Tokyo Bay Makuhari," and many others.

Yosuke Karasawa
Joined the establishment of Kiyono Yosei Office in 2003. Joined the establishment of Yo Co., Ltd. in 2006 as a director. Established Yosuke Karasawa Design Office in 2018. Established Street Co., Ltd. in 2020. Specializes in hospitality design for restaurants, retail stores, hotels, offices, and bridal facilities. Major works include "BRACKETS HOTEL," "Henn na Hotel" (numerous locations), "Sushi Tetsuya," "RIGEL Restaurant&Bar," "avex office," and many others.

Naoya Tochio
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1983. Completed the Master's program in Urban and Architectural Engineering at Tohoku University Graduate School in 2008. Joined Urban Design System (now UDS) in 2008. Established to-ripple Co., Ltd. in 2017. Part-time lecturer at Tohoku University Graduate School of Engineering since 2019. Engages in architectural and interior design for various uses such as hotels, offices, commercial facilities, and restaurants. Major works include "RETONA HAKONE," "Yusen no Yado Yuamu," "HOTEL CLAD," "Ohori Soma-yaki Matsunaga Kiln," and many others.

Through design explanations and dialogue between the two, they will explore the future of commercial spaces and the process of their creation.
